Westlands is a very happy home registered for 20 active elderly who enjoy a comfortable, homely environment with the security of 24-hour professional care.
Established for more than 20 years, Westlands Retirement Home has been owned and managed by Ashley and Diana Rayfield since 1998 with Liz Feasby as Care Manager for more than 9 years. After so many years together, we now make a very strong team.
As well as providing cheerful, dedicated care in the home, Westlands Retirement Home residents benefit from a commitment to providing entertainments, outings, excursions and shopping trips, bingo and other activities.
The Home runs a wheelchair-adapted vehicle so that every client has the opportunity to get out and about. We are well aware that getting out is one of the most valued activities we can offer to our clients. We do not spend our days sitting staring at the walls!
Wetlands Retirement Home is always open to welcome visitors and our residents are often joined by family and friends for tea, coffee or lunch. We encourage prospective residents to “try us out” before deciding whether or not to move in so please just call Liz or Diana if you would like to come for a short visit or a meal or a whole day.
